eCH
The society eCH advances and passes egovernment standards in Switzerland.

By passing and coordinating adequate standards, eCH makes it easier for government agencies to work with each other or with private institutions, companies, organisations and education and research institutes. This applies to:

  • A uniform operating philosophy
  • The secure handling of transactions
  • The smooth handling of processes as well as service and payment flows among the business parties.

eCH promotes the implementation of international standards and cooperates with other national and international organisations that deal with standardisation. Once passed, the standards have recommendation status.

ch/open
The independent society "Swiss Open Systems User Group" (/ch/open) was founded back in 1982 with a view to promoting the use of open systems. Its focus at that time lay on the propagation of UNIX skills.

We are still interested in UNIX as an open operating system, especially since the free UNIX look-alike, GNU/Linux, and numerous so-called open source applications are available in source code and thus could not be more open.

Our activities focus on providing our members with continuing education. /ch/open helps you to keep abreast of open technologies, to profit from hands-on experience and, particularly, to meet people personally.

As a sponsoring member, terreActive actively supports ch-open and thus contributes to the success of open source in Switzerland.

SwissICT
SwissICT is one of the leading associations for information and communications technology in Switzerland. SwissICT gives its roughly 630 corporate members and 1,600 individual members a clearly defined value for their financial and personal commitment in the form of attractive services.

SwissICT represents the interests of its members in dealings with government agencies, in the political arena and in public. In so doing, SwissICT aims to play an active role in the interest of its members, a role which is remarkable for its strong presence in the media and its influence in politics as well as in trade and industry.

Striving to boost the effectiveness of industry associations, SwissICT, in selective cooperation with other associations, pursues a strategy of consolidating Swiss ICT associations.

As a member, we profit from the numerous services provided by the association in terms of education, training and networking.
